Between the worlds

And, in one legend of The Holy Grail, the wise sage of King Arthur's court is able to move back and forth between the worlds of the corporeal and the world of spirit.  Today some call the spirit world the place of leprechauns and  fairies.  But, in the time of Arthur fairies were of greater stature, fully spirit.

The spirit world even had a Monarch Queen who lived in Avalon.... an island deep within the spirit world.  And when King Arthur's sage once journeyed from the realm of corporeality to Avalon the Monarch Queen seduced him.  The Queen soon bore a little child, half corporeal, and half fairy.  The Monarch named her Nimue.  This child, half corporeal and half fairy, is now my daughter.

It Seems That

When mist hangs soft on common green

And in the motion of it's veil I stand...

Like sunlit curtains it will part

And take my breath away

As though...it's gossamer will reveal

Bold knights in armour riding there...

In ghostly columns...

But...when I blink and look again

The world has changed...and in it's place...

Fall strands of golden saxon hair

As morning mist upon the rise,

Soft and gentle as you eyes,

Warm as sunshine on your face
